Can you play I Can Smell You from Here on mobile?
There is no official mobile port yet. The browser game can load on some phones, but touch controls are not supported. A desktop or laptop is the recommended way to play.
01The creator’s answer
Is there an Android or iPhone version?
The official game page opens on itch.io currently lists HTML5, Windows and Linux. It does not offer an official Android APK or iOS app download. In response to a player who could not choose an answer on a phone, the creator wrote:
“mobile port is not out yet. will work on it soon, stay tuned”
That is a plan, not a released version or a promised date. We do not provide unofficial APKs, app-store lookalikes or a separate mobile installer.
02Loading is not the same as playing
Why can the game open but not accept an answer?
The current control scheme uses keyboard and mouse input: arrows or the scroll wheel select a choice, and holding ENTER, SPACE or the left mouse button confirms it. Touch input is not part of that official control list. A player’s report that answers cannot be selected on mobile opens on itch.io prompted the reply above.
The first load also includes about 83.1 MB of engine and game data. Downloading those files successfully does not establish that a phone can complete a run. Repeatedly refreshing or installing an unknown app is not a verified fix.

Continue on a desktop or laptop

Open the browser version on a computer
Return to the play section, read the mature-content warning, then launch the game. No account or payment is required.

Use the documented controls
Keep the controls guide nearby. Holding a choice is different from tapping it; TAB opens the game’s options and saves.

Choose an official download if the web build is unsuitable
Windows and Linux downloads opens on itch.io are available from the creator (73 MB and 64 MB). Those are desktop builds, not phone apps. The original game is in English.

Where will a mobile release be announced?
Check the creator’s devlog opens on itch.io and official download list for a released build. This page records the status observed on 2026-09-28; it is not a live release feed. Until the creator publishes a port, there is no verified release date to put in a countdown or notification signup.
