About the art

The painterly restaurant scenes sit on top of hard geometric blocking. That is deliberate, and the creator has named the influence:

“unironically i love using abstract geo shapes and color blockouts in my designs because of malevich”

It is also why this site’s own palette is built from the cover painting — umber, parchment, rust and one cold teal — rather than from a template.

02Credits

One person, four departments

catproblem9735 is credited for every part of the game, which is unusual enough to be worth spelling out:

  • Writing & game design — catproblem9735
  • Art & animation — catproblem9735
  • Music & SFX — catproblem9735
  • Programming — catproblem9735

Special thanks

  • milqtost opens on itch.io — Voiced the endearingly sarcastic line the creator quotes on the official page, and gave emotional support.
  • adam pype opens on itch.io — Encouraged the creator to turn a one-line sticky note idea, “a game about telling lies”, into a finished game.

Both credits are quoted from the credits block on the official page.

What this site is, and what it is not

Independent, authorized host

This site is run by an independent host with permission to mirror the browser build of the game and to write original guide pages about it. It is not operated by catproblem9735, it is not the creator’s official identity, and it is not affiliated with itch.io.

All game content — art, music, writing, characters and the game itself — belongs to catproblem9735. The guide text on this site is ours. The cover art is used with the creator’s permission.

What this site does

  • Hosts the browser build on this domain so it opens in one click.
  • Explains the controls, the save system and the endings structure in plain language.
  • Links every claim back to the creator’s own page or devlog.

What this site does not do

  • Charge for the game, sell add-ons, or gate anything behind an account.
  • Publish a walkthrough, ending names, or datamined story details.
  • Copy the creator’s page text or screenshots into our own pages.

Where to get the game properly

The game is free on itch.io, where the page lists a suggested price of $2.00 for optional support. Downloads there are Windows 73 MB and Linux 64 MB, and the same page hosts the browser build we mirror.

If the browser build is not for you, or you want the creator’s own hosting, use the official itch.io page opens on itch.io. Anything you would like to tell the creator — bug reports, praise, questions about the endings — belongs there, not here.

Mobile is requested, not released

Several players have asked for a phone version. The creator has answered in the comments that it is noted and being worked on, and that it is not out yet. The official page still lists HTML5, Windows and Linux only, and the browser build on this site does not support phones.

“mobile port is not out yet. will work on it soon, stay tuned”

No sequel and no expansion planned

Players keep asking for a second date; the creator has answered both ways, joking about considering it and stating plainly that the game is meant to stand alone.

“there is no plan to expand this game itself. reason is it's self contained enough on its own”

Where every fact came from

Method: facts on this site are limited to what is visible on the official itch.io page, the official devlog and the official screenshots, checked on 2026-09-28. Sizes are the exact byte counts declared by the official browser build. Where the creator has not published something — ending names, for example — we say so instead of filling the gap.
